Lap Dancer
Lap Dancer is the solo noise project of Jamie Grefe (SDT, Friend, Hoser, Trauma Coil). Utilizing laptop, pedals, mixer, microphones and random household objects, Lap Dancer revolves around haunting collages of harsh noise crust, spliced and twisted, fraying the aural cavity with blasts of distortion and the dissipation of gurgling voices. Filmic scenes flutter through one's skull; only to find that the reel has been damaged, mulched and spit out through a wood chipper, leaving only fragmented remnants of a musical corpse strewn over the soiled gravel.
