HOMES 26. The first stuff I ever recorded in Grand Rapids, Michigan. New life with Brandy. You can tell I'm getting a little better at recording, and trying some new things. Towards the end of the "album" there's some stuff with the Electribe that's nice. There's some really nice guitar stuff, fun keyboard stuff, a whole bunch of goofball fucking-around, and some noisy nasty stuff. The noise is starting to bug me. I'm getting older, and my ears are starting to bother me a bit after all the years of thinking I was cool pressing my face against my guitar cabinet onstage. When the squeaky-crazy-noisy parts of these tracks pop up suddenly, I find them totally annoying and pointless. I know that was probably the point, but it still kinda pisses me off. Maybe I'm just getting lame, forgetting how fun stuff can be. I don't know. I'm not here to erase history, though. I'm just trying to archive all this shit. Listen to it or don't. Believe me: I won't blame you for just walking away.
